Wisdom 2.0 Japanも同様の考えに基づき、コミュニティ創りを主要テーマの一つとしています。
Wisdom2.0Japanはリーダー達の話を聴いて啓発されるばかりの場では無く、そこに集う全員が参加して創り上げていく場なのです。

「私達はスクリーンに支配されているような世界に住んでおり、その傾向は日々顕著になっています。待合室やカフェで周りを見回してみてください。
　　
すると大抵の人が、携帯電話やラップトップなどのスクリーンに見入っていることに気づくでしょう。
この行動は理解できますし、プラスの面もあります。
でも、このせいで人間同士のコミュニケーションやつながりが、容易に失われてしまうという危険もあります。
　　
そこで来年のWisdom2.0では、つながりの持つパワーにフォーカスすることにしました。つながりをサポートするツールとしてのテクノロジーの役割について話し合うと同時に、人間同士が同じ場所で向き合ってコミュニケーションを図ることの価値および必要性も深く掘り下げていきます。
　
コミュニティを創るものは一体何なのでしょうか。

Wisdom2.0に対するフィードバックの中で最も感動するのは、「Wisdom2.0に参加して友達が出来ました」というものです。
前回のWisdom2.0に参加したチェルシー・ハンドラーさんは「昨晩、私はWisdom2.0で、友達になりたいと思える人に3人も出会いました」と言っていました。
私達にとってこれ以上に嬉しいフィードバックはありません。

人間同士のつながりとコミュニティに属している感覚が最も大切です。

「次のブッダはサンガ（コミュニティ）である可能性がある」と言いました。

In the latest Wisdom2.0 newsletter, Soren Gordhamer, the founder and host of the event, speaks about how human connection and community are the major part of the answer to our wellbeing towards the future. We at Wisdom2.0 Japan share the same mindset and expect for all of the people present to take part in the event and connect with each other in doing so, instead of just listening to what the leaders on the stage have to say.

“We live in a world increasingly dominated by screens – look around any waiting room or cafe, or even red light, and just about everyone is looking at a screen. This is understandable and has benefit, but we can easily miss human contact and connection.

We decided to focus this next Wisdom2.0 (4 Months Away From Today!) on THE POWER OF CONNECTION. We will explore both the role of technology to support connection, and the value and need for in-person contact. What actually creates community?

Of all the different feedback we get, the most touching we hear is, “I attended your event and I made a new friend.” Chelsea Handler at the last Wisdom2.0 said, “Last night at our dinner, I met three people I want to be friends with.” That is the best feedback.

It’s the human connection, and the feeling of community that matters most. Thich Nhat Hanh said, “The next Buddha may be a Sangha (or community).” The teacher is the community. In this, technology is a part of the answer, but so is our mind and heart．”
